MISSING university student Victoria Stephenson has been found safe and well in Dublin, police said today.
Vicky, a first-year student at Manchester Metropolitan University, went missing on Tuesday after going to interview homeless people for her degree course.
Detective Superintendent Peter Minshall, of Greater Manchester Police, said Vicky had walked into a police station in Dublin.
Speaking outside Longsight Police Station, he said: "I'm very pleased to announce that a short time ago, Victoria Stephenson walked into a police station in Dublin. The police in Dublin made contact with us and we in turn arranged for Vicky's friends and family to talk to her on the telephone."
Police today said they were becoming concerned for the welfare of a ten-year-old boy missing from his home overnight.
Archie McCue, from Gorleston, Norfolk, was last seen at about 8pm yesterday by his mother at his home in the Suffolk Road area of the town. Archie was described as white, 4ft tall, with close-cropped mousy brown hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt with a Tomb Raider motif, blue tracksuit bottoms, and a navy padded jacket.
