Sleeve: Predictable picture of Lighthouse Family hit by the light of, and climbing the steps to... a lighthouse.
Sleeve notes: Little on the band itself, but the song lyrics are here.
Content: All the hits including Lifted, Ocean Drive, High and Lost In Space. Packed with easy listening favourites; great Sunday Afternoon music. The best of the Family's other three records are also present, as well as two UK- only bonus tracks.
High points: The Lighthouse Family are great at slow, emotional tracks so it has to be Lost In Space plus a superb cover of Bill Withers' Ain't No Sunshine.
Low point: The Linslee 7" mix of Lifted. Totally pointless.
Glaring omissions?: None.
Anything new?: The Withers cover (pinched off the Notting Hill soundtrack), UK bonus tracks including End Of The Sky plus the Lifted Mix.
Excuse for release: The Lighthouse Family have contributed to the charts enough to make this a worthy addition.
Ideal Christmas gift for: Mum.
