A YORK car firm is cracking open the sake after Japanese executives voted it the best Suzuki dealership in the country.
Sales staff at the Glen Garage, in Layerthorpe, beat off competition from more than 155 dealerships to claim the prestigious prize.
It was commended for its continued improvement over the last four years, sales figures and customer satisfaction.
Sales manager Richard Westerman said: "Everyone is chuffed to bits - it's a great feat. We were up against some big dealerships, so it is a massive shock.
"We will be celebrating at our Christmas party."
