PARTS of the Barbican Centre will reopen tomorrow following this week's fire.
More than 30 bathers had to be evacuated from the swimming pool and the entire building was closed following the fire in the sauna on Monday evening.
The west area of the centre, including the swimming pool, part of the gym, and the body suite, was closed as a precautionary measure. From tomorrow morning everything, with the exception of the Ocean Explorers soft play area and the sauna, will be running as usual. The reopening date for the soft play area has yet to be confirmed.
The upper floor gym has now been relocated to the downstairs studio.
