ON two occasions when reporting the issue of replacement windows on the Navigation Road Estate the Evening Press has referred to Nick Blitz as our ward councillor.
As a resident of Guildhall Ward it is my understanding that our councillors are Brian Watson and Janet Looker and have been deservedly so for a number of years now.
I say deservedly so because I know both are very conscientious and work hard for their constituents.
What is the reason for Coun Blitz's new-found interest in Guildhall Ward? Is it to divert his interest from Monk Ward where he was voted in a by-election only a couple of years ago?
Could it be that he is deserting Monk Ward before the boundary changes come into force next year because he has designs on Guildhall Ward?
Given that he promised to represent the voters of Monk Ward when elected, what does this say now to those people?
