AINSTY Farm Shop, at Kirk Hammerton, has been nominated in the Evening Press Eat Local campaign by Penny Rutherford, of Hopperton, near Knaresborough.
The farm shop, which was featured in the paper last month after it received a Defra grant to set up its own web-site, is now hoping to offer a mail order service to customers in the New Year.
"The locally-reared meat is excellent and there is an excellent range of produce," said Ms Rutherford.
"The staff are also very helpful, friendly and attentive."
Co-founder Sam Blacker, who helped form the co-operative before giving up farming to concentrate on the shop, said he was delighted to have been nominated.
"Dealing with the public and ensuring they buy quality produce is something I enjoy," he said.
