WHO says farmers do not know how to have a good time? Thanks to the Internet even those not in the turkey business are set for a cracking Christmas.
Imagine the scene. Party hat on head, computer mouse in hand, wellies on feet, the farmer clicks, listens, considers. "It has too many bass notes for a Massey Ferguson," he muses. "More like a 1960s Marshall two-stroke."
The Farmers Weekly Interactive game, to guess the tractor from its engine noise, is compelling stuff.
Perhaps too compelling. Will the cattle be left unfed, the sheep unwatered as farmers struggle to distinguish the Allis-Chalmers four cylinder A from the pre-war Monarch?
