Leeds United will visit Scunthorpe in the FA Cup third round next month after the Iron won their second round replay at Carlisle 1-0 last night with a goal from former York City player Martin Carruthers.
The tie revives memories of Scunthorpe's 4-2 home third round victory over United in a second replay in 1984 when manager Allan Clarke enjoyed success against his old club.
