A YORK firm has won a major contract with an international cosmetics giant.
Time-attendance software specialist Mitrefinch Ltd, of Clifton Moor, has been selected to install its market-leading human resources software at the distribution centre of Golden Ltd, one of main operating divisions in the UK for L'Oreal.
The L'Oreal UK subsidiary employs more than 2,300 staff and has a dynamic programme of major product launches across a range of international brands including L'Oreal, Laboratoires Garnier, Lancome and Maybelline New York.
Mitrefinch Ltd's innovative TMS system was installed experimentally at Golden Ltd's Manchester-based distribution centre and offices last February and has been running successfully for some months now.
Its TMS Version 4.01 is said to make time and attendance technology more easily accessible and affordable. Golden Ltd will also be able to take advantage of TMS 4's new website module which enables users to record details relating to time and attendance and allow supervisors to securely access reporting functions and check anomalies online.
Andrew Simpson, Mitrefinch's managing director, said: "When companies with the calibre of L'Oreal UK put their confidence in our technology, it is naturally a boost for the whole Mitrefinch team responsible for the development of our software. We are delighted to be working with Golden Ltd to help them enhance their time and attendance management."
