Nestle Rowntree Rugby Union Club finished the year on a high note with a 14-10 win against Northallerton 2nds/3rds.
On a heavy pitch, Rowntrees managed a 7-3 lead at half-time, the try coming from Cottom under the posts. Ivor Jackson tagged an easy conversion.
In the second half a well-worked move from the Rowntrees backs saw Harvey go over, Jackson converting.
With some team changes made by Rowntree, Northallerton capitalised with a late try.
