A YORK primary school is looking to make maths fun, at an after-school club to be launched next week.
About 30 Year 2 children from Carr Infant School, Acomb, will take part in the club on Monday evenings.
They will play maths games and will be able to take them home to continue playing them with their families.
The head teacher, Ann McKeown, said: "The aim of the club is to extend children's mathematical knowledge and skills, and we hope the children will do that in a fun way by doing mathematical activities and playing games ."
