INVENTOR Chris Thomas has tuned into a useful musical solution for guitarists - which could earn him thousands of pounds.
Chris, 39, of Bell Farm Avenue, York, who works as an engineer for a Clifton Moor firm, has created a unique device for all types of the stringed instrument.
His revolutionary bridge for the strings of a guitar adjusts the instrument's intonation while reducing excess noise and vibration with its simpler design.
Chris, who has also made his own guitar, is now searching for a well-known musician to endorse the product, which he says could be marketed to thousands of musicians world-wide.
Chris said: "I wouldn't say the sale of guitars and bridges could make millions, but it could be reasonably lucrative if they take off. Mind you, I would prefer to have my name in lights."
