POLICE are urging York people to help them find two young girls who have gone missing from home.
Elizabeth Mary Frost, 12, and Sara Louise Gray, 16, have not been seen since January 5.
The pair, both from Clifton, are known to be friends, and officers believe that they are together and are still in the York area.
Elizabeth is about 5ft 3in, and slim with short ginger hair. She is from the Burton Green area and was last seen wearing purple trousers, a blue Puffa-style jacket and white trainers.
Sara, also slim and about 5ft 10in, has shoulder-length blonde hair and wears glasses. She was wearing black trousers, a black, three-quarter length coat and white and gold trainers.
Sergeant Colin Ventress, of York police, said: " Given their ages, there is concern for their well-being."
