TWO young girls who went missing from their homes in York were found safe and well in the city early today.
Elizabeth Mary Frost, 12, and Zara Louise Gray, 16, who went missing together from their homes in Clifton on January 5, were found by police at the Clifton Moor shopping centre. The pair were taken home by police in the early hours.
Zara's mother, Anne-Marie, who lives off Water Lane, Clifton, with her husband, Peter, and nine-year-old daughter Joanne, said: "I'm so relieved that she is back and is safe and well. I just hope she won't do anything like this again."
