I READ your feature 'Help police crack down on villains' (January 3) with great interest. I agree we all should help our local police force.
My daughter and I live in an area well used to crime, and criminals and we are grateful to have a wonderful community 'copper' - PC Dave White.
Everyone round here likes and trusts Dave. We can talk to him as we would a pal.
The police often do a thankless job, putting their lives on the line to give us a safer life.
Where would we be without them?
