STAR billing was shared between Fulford and Copmanthorpe in the League Reserve Cup.

Fulford stood the form-book on its head to win 3-1 against high-flying Thorpe United.

Howard Cooper gave the underdogs the lead in the tenth minute only for Eric Montgomery to level just after the half-hour mark.

Thorpe continued to press in the second half but Dave Burgess broke away to give Fulford the lead again. With throwing everything forward Fulford broke again and substitute Terry Hudson applied the finishing touch.

Copmanthorpe travelled to Osbaldwick and enjoyed an emphatic 3-0 win with goals from Andrew Manns, Simon Evans and Matthew Pearson.

Pocklington overcame the challenge of White Horse with a hat-trick from Rob Bradley and a solo goal from Neil Watt.

Seven goals were scored at Stillington, where the home side's Dave McCafferty included two penalties in his hat-trick. But it was still not enough to prevent Heslington going through with goals from Simon Gatenby (2), Ben Patzecha and Rob Cockerill.

Steve Fratson hit four as Nestl Rowntree romped home 6-0 against Norton United. Daniel Cooper and Felix Duparc also scored.

It took penalties to separate Wigginton Black Horse and Old Malton.

Black Horse took an early lead through James Wood but Old Malton levelled before half-time. The tie stayed deadlocked until the end of extra time after which Old Malton prevailed 5-4 in the shoot-out.

But Haxby rallied with three goals in the last 15 minutes from Paul Jacobs (2) and Stuart Baker before winning the spot-kick drama 6-5.

Barmby Moor enjoyed a convincing 6-2 win over neighbours Dunnington from a division above with strikes from Gavin Young (2), Paul Tatterton, Jon Pinder and Rich Allison, plus an own goal. Richard Carr and John Wormald responded for Dunnington.

Carl Stuttard bagged a hat-trick in the first half for Malton Bacon Factory as they comfortably overcame the challenge of Reserve 'C' side Wilberfoss.

Jamie Ward, Danny Brockless and John Huberry continued the spree after the break before Lee Wiper's consolation.

Bishopthorpe also enjoyed a goal-fest against Reserve 'C' opposition in Wheldrake.

Paul Broadbent bagged four goals, with Neil Sanderson and Will Griffiths managing one apiece.

Former York City, Chesterfield and Harrogate Town striker Iain Dunn set Huntington on their way at home to New Earswick with a goal after 25 minutes.

Steve Rambridge and Chris Dower increased the hosts' advantage before Wayne Smith responded for Earswick's solitary reply.
