The AGM of the York and North Yorkshire Outward Bound Association takes place on Monday, March 17, at 7.30pm in classroom 5 of York District Hospital. The objectives of the Association are to publicise the adventure training courses run by the Outward Bound Trust and to sponsor teenagers, particularly those who could not otherwise afford to participate.
The association is a charitable organisation, and as such welcomes grants and gifts from individuals and commercial organisations. Those interested in learning more about the Outward Bound Trust, and the York and North Yorkshire Outward Bound Association in particular, should phone chairman David Hopton on 01904 794433.
