GRAPHIC designer Gary Robinson has proved himself to be lucky in love - three times over.

The 29-year-old York man was given just three minutes to decide which one of three women contestants he wished to date as part of a TV speed-dating show.

The matchmaking programme introduced three men and three women, before asking each contestant whom they would like to date.

When their choices were unveiled, Gary, who lives at Fulford, discovered every member of the female trio had chosen him.

Gary, who works at Norwich Union in York, said no one was more surprised than himself at his sudden popularity.

He said: "I felt like any bloke would - totally blown away."

He added: "But at work, I'm in a no-win situation. If none of the women had chosen me everyone would have taken the mick as well."

Gary said that his date with Suzie, who comes from Leeds, to a Greek restaurant in the city went well and the couple hoped to meet again.

I Spy Love will be screened tonight at 11.30 on Yorkshire TV.
