DESPITE a brave fight back by Bracknell in the last ten minutes of the game Harrogate enjoyed a comfortable 29-17 National League Two home win.

After 15 minutes their left wing flyer, James Tapster, outsprinted everyone for 50 metres to score under the posts for Lee Cholewa to convert.

Just before half time Harrogate ran a tap penalty and after good work by John Dudley and scrum-half John Newton, centre Jamie Barker provided right winger Farrar with a simple try in the corner.

Harrogate only needed one more score to seal

the game and this came immediately following the restart.

Rhys Morgan, playing in the centre, took a quick tap penalty and fed Cholewa who strolled over for the try but missed an easy conversion.

Oliver Cook, sprinted the final 20 metres for Harrogate's fourth try as the home side went 22-0 up.

But Bracknell hit back, creating just enough space for Simon Sinclair to round the Harrogate defence and sprint 50 metres for their first try which Philip Friel converted.

Harrogate replied when Duncombe finished off a good handling move with a try which Cholewa converted.

Bracknell had the final word with two tries from their props but Harrogate's victory was never in doubt.
