Inch Perfect, who made a stylish debut over fences at Catterick earlier this month, can follow-up at tomorrow's newly-installed Wetherby meeting, which is part of the BHB's initiative to help compensate for the loss of fixtures to the weather this winter.

Trained at Butterwick near Malton by Richard Fahey, Inch Perfect, a prolific winner on the Flat, jumped like an old hand at Catterick.

Always travelling comfortably, he went clear of his rivals from the second-last fence and crossed the line with 13 lengths to spare over Red Hustler.

Fahey had the option of running Inch Perfect in a Flat race at Doncaster on Thursday, but he decided to wait for this opportunity in the Comedy Road Novices' Handicap Chase.

With Padge Whelan again in the saddle, the eight-year-old is fancied to make it two out of two over fences.

Jockey Richard Guest has enjoyed a tremendous start since taking over the training licence from his boss Norman Mason a month ago, and he can add to the dozen winners he has had already with a Wetherby double.

Guest can score with Red Rampage in the Irish Red Handicap and also with Able Native in the Sayyure Handicap Hurdle.

Red Rampage was a winner last time out at Carlisle, while Able Native has finished runner-up on her last two outings. She can now find opportunity knocking.

Also worth noting at Wetherby are Mick Easterby's promising Barton Gate (4-35) and the potentially smart Paddy The Piper (5-40).

National Hunt enthusiasts have two other extra meetings to focus on, at Warwick and Huntingdon.

Robin Dickin could be the trainer to follow at Warwick, where he has good prospects with Captains Table in the Tommys Dream Handicap Chase, and recent Southwell winner Channahrlie in the Parish Rigged Handicap Chase.
