YORK Community Furniture Store is to expand after receiving more than £100,000 from the Community Fund.
The charity, which provides furniture for families and individuals on low incomes, will operate in Selby, Tadcaster, Easingwold, Malton and Pocklington, as well as York. The grant money will be spent on salaries for three core staff over three years and will allow for expansion.
