YORK primary school children will be treated to a magical performance of Beauty And The Beast, thanks to students from York College.
First-year national diploma performing arts students joined forces with makeup, theatre and design students for the production which will be performed next week.
Course tutor, Serge Alvarez, said: "The students have produced a very engaging show for youngsters.
"The costumes and makeup are colourful and the special effects are quite amazing.
"The actors are fired up ready tell the story of this magical tale and I am sure the audiences will be enthralled."
The production will be staged in the Chapel Studio at York St John College, from Tuesday to Thursday next week.
There will be a one-off performance open to the general public on Wednesday, at 7pm.
