ALTHOUGH I have only met him a handful of times, I know Gordon Campbell-Thomas to be a man of vision, passion and integrity who gets things done.
Through working as part of a team, he has totally transformed a Tang Hall rubbish dump into a beautiful nature reserve with a state of the art ecological centre which demonstrates the latest developments in environmental technology.
David Ellis, chairman of the York Labour Party would have done well to keep quiet. Perhaps his patronising and personal comments reflect jealousy of Gordon's track record (March 26). Well done, Mr Ellis - you have certainly persuaded at least one lifetime Labour Party voter to vote against you in the forthcoming election.
