ORGANISERS of York's Race for Life are encouraging women to enter before Friday's deadline.
The popular event takes place on the Knavesmire on Sunday, May 11, to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Women from Courtney's Health Club promoted the race by staging an aerobic display at York Station.
Race organiser Janet Cooper said: "Our aim is to encourage as many women as possible from the York area to take part and raise funds for research into cancer's that touch women's lives."
