I KNOW our police need protection against the aggression of a minority of our citizens in this country.
But we are either watching too much space fiction or treating people like animals by allowing some police officers to use American-style stun guns.
Our methods of policing have been praised all over the world so why should we follow American methods?
No doubt these weapons could fall into the hands of rapists and others wishing to pray on those who would be unable to defend themselves after being incapacitated by these stun guns.
The wrong element will get them sooner or later.
