They won 3-2 win at New Earswick on Tuesday and two days later were 2-0 victors at Pocklington with goals from Matty Wain and Dickinson.

The only other team who could catch them, Volunteers lost 3-1 at Severus the same evening, so 'Trees completed the League, Cup and County cup treble.

Opticare travelled to Volunteers on Tuesday and stormed in to a 5-0 within 30 minutes with goals from Cross (2), Bastock (2) and Brooke. Volunteers pulled two back in a minute before the break and another just after reduced the arrears still further before they were reduced to ten men. From the resulting free-kick, Cross headed home a sixth goal. Rayner pulled another back to give a final score of 6-4 which left Opticare six points clear with a superior goal difference having completed their fixtures.

Volunteers travelled to second-placed Fulford on Thursday where a superb performance earned them a 6-0 win, Bartlett notching a hat-trick, and leaving only victory required on Sunday to secure the title. That victory was never in doubt as Jackson scored twice in the opening period to help Volunteers to a 3-1 win over Acomb Celtic.

Inland Revenue made a rousing comeback to draw 3-3 with Burnholme SC. After Thomas (2) and Waddington had given Burnholme a 3-0 lead, goals from Ingram, Ellis and Topham in the last ten minutes earned Revenue a point.
