Trials are being held for a new Under-11s cricket team to represent York and District in the Joe Lumb Lord's Taverners Competition.
York have never before entered an U11s side in the competition and the trial match will take place at York CC on May 11, starting at 2pm.
Organisers have received most nominations but anyone whose name has not yet been put forward can be nominated by contacting Derek Lancaster on 01904 709095.
The U11s are due to play East Yorkshire (June 16), Barnsley (June 22), Sheffield (June 29) and Doncaster (July 6).
