YORK Rugby League Referees' Society recently held its annual presentation of awards.
The top award, the JP Hebblethwaite Trophy, went to 16-year-old Tom Benson; the junior referee of the season was 12-year-old Liam Mayled; and the best new referee of the season was 18-year-old Craig Swanson.
