IT has been billed as the hottest show on legs - and it can be seen at York's Grand Opera House until Saturday.
Members of the Tap Dogs dance team are pictured by the River Ouse on the nearby Esplanade, warming up for their show - from left, Chrisopher Erk, Douglas Mills, Christopher Ernest and Nigel Long.
The fast and energetic tap-dancing extravaganza started off in Sydney, Australia, and has since gone around the world, including the Edinburgh Festival and Sadler's Wells, said an Opera House spokeswoman.
"It's just a brilliant show, very energetic," she said, adding that the show played to a full house when it opened on Monday evening.
Tap Dogs are performing every evening this week at 8pm, apart from Friday when the show starts at 9pm. There will also be early evening performances on Friday at 6pm and on Saturday at 5pm.
