A MOTORIST suffered a head injury as she swerved to avoid a bicycle which had been thrown into the road.
The accident happened just after 9pm last night in Haxby Road, York, close to the Nestl factory.
A York Police spokesman confirmed that two Rover cars, one white and one blue, had swerved to avoid the bicycle and one crashed into a hedge.
A woman suffered a cut to the head in the incident, but her injury was not thought to be serious.
