A DANCE group is coming to East Yorkshire to create a special piece of live art - the Bridlington Waltz.
Vincent Dance Theatre will be in residence in the East Riding, working with a range of community groups to make the aforementioned work.
Bridlington Waltz is a large-scale piece of community dance theatre, which involves youngsters, adults, and mature adults, of differing abilities from across the region.
It will all culminate in a performance at the Royal Hall, Bridlington Spa, on South Marine Drive, on Sunday, June 1.
The venue is a ballroom space with a huge sprung floor, with a taste of dancing in days gone by.
Each group will work towards creating s different section of the piece, which promises to be a spectacular mix of dance and theatre, full of fun and colour.
It celebrates the diversity of people who live within the East Riding - and even offers an opportunity towards the end of the piece for the audience to get up and dance.
It starts at 7pm, and tickets are priced at £3, or £2 concessions. For tickets and further information call Bridlington Spa box office on 01262 678258.
