A ROMAN camp discovered in the middle of a busy York shopping park will again be open to the public.
The camp was recently discovered near Kathryn Avenue, Monks Cross, and was the venue of a successful open day last month. It will open tomorrow, from 11am to 3pm. Visitors should wear boots or stout footwear. Classes of schoolchildren are encouraged to attend, teachers should phone Mark Johnson on 07771 996820 to arrange a time.
