THIEVES have been busy in York in a spate of raids.
Residents of a flat in Tadcaster Road, York, found burglars had entered their home through a ground floor side window. Nothing has been reported stolen.
Two handbags were stolen from Fairfax Street, off Nunnery Lane, after intruders entered through an insecure door.
An IBM Think Pad lap top computer was stolen from a house in Montague Street, York.
Meanwhile, burglars took the keys to a blue Vauxhall Astra, registration YHO2 JWJ, which they stole, after entering a property in Ashbourne Way, Woodthorpe.
