HEATHER Causnett (letters, June 20) is repelled by feminism.

I am equally wary of the ultra-feminine woman who flutters her eyelashes at any passing, charismatic male, throwing herself on to his knee and kissing him avidly - even on his balding head.

This happens whether or not his or her partner is present.

These women are invariably desperate, predatory older types who should know better. As a child I encountered such women, who would sidle up to my unimpressed dad who said they were: 'man-fond'.
