New Earswick All Blacks Rugby League Club under-8s gave the best performance they have ever produced only to lose by 11 tries to six to Fryston Juniors.
The All Blacks youngsters were impressive in defence against a hard-hitting team.
Sam Gell was All Blacks' man of the match, while brilliant tackling made Spencer Mitchell top tackler.
Rhys Ward put in the great effort and was most improved player.
All Blacks under-8s do not have a game this weekend.
