SCOTT Nicholls was man of the match as Acomb II beat Stillington in the replayed York and District Stephensons Junior Charity Cup final.
Stillington batted first and were bowled out for 89 in the last of the allotted overs.
Only Shani Dissanayake with (30) made a significant contribution, while Scott Nicholls (3-27) and John Renshaw (6-19) did the damage with the ball.
In reply, Acomb II reached 90-4 with two overs to spare with Nicholls (35no) batting through the innings supported by Nick Grant (20no).
Trophies and prize money were presented by Maurice Bell, Charity Cups president, on behalf of sponsors Stephensons Estate Agents.
