CARLISLE United are expected to feature a hat-trick of new but old faces for the opening day visit of York City on Saturday.
Thirtysomethings Paul Simpson, Chris Billy and Steve Livingstone have all arrived at Brunton Park over the summer.
Former Rochdale boss Simpson and ex-Bury schemer Billy are being tipped to fill the central midfield berths tomorrow while ex-Grimsby and Coventry striker Livingstone will lead from the front.
Livingstone is expected to partner Craig Farrell, Carlisle's top scorer with 14 goals last term, who has already bagged seven goals in a promising pre-season for United.
With wing-wizard Brendan McGill rated extremely doubtful with a rib injury, Irish striker Richie Foran is being earmarked to play out wide on the right.
Former Middlesbrough midfielder Mark Summerbell is ruled out through suspension carried over from last season.
Ex-Wimbledon defender Des Byrne is also out after suffering ankle ligament damage at the start of pre-season.
