COFFEE cups will be rattling across York next month when hundreds of people take part in The World's Biggest Coffee Morning.
The annual event organised by Macmillan Cancer Relief takes place on September 26 and is open to anyone willing to put the kettle on and enjoy a cuppa.
This huge national event is in its 13th year and this year it is hoped that the people of York will join in and help to raise more than £3.5 million. Alex Emsley, pictured above, the York Appeal Co-ordinator for Macmillan Cancer Relief, said: "Every single person that holds a coffee morning, be it at work, home or in the more unusual places such as up a flag pole, will make a huge difference to people in York living with cancer.
