MALTON and Norton Golf Club's Simon Dyson had one of his better results of the season in the Nordic Open at Simon's Club, Copenhagen.
He fired a last round 71 to add to his excellent third round of 66 to finish well up the leaderboard. He had made the cut by scoring 71 70 in the opening two rounds.
Dyson's total of 277 was 11 behind leader Ian Poulter who let his golf rather than his hair grab the headlines with his second victory of the season.
Poulter carded a final-round 66 for a 22-under-par total, one shot ahead of former European number one Colin Montgomerie.
