I AGREE with all the recent remarks made by Coun Mark Hill, resident Ann McLaren and Richard Frost about the expansion of the university at Heslington.
My question is: where are the extra 5,000 students going to be accommodated? Is the university going to take care of that or do they expect the surrounding areas of Badger Hill, Fulford, Osbaldwick and so forth to slowly become student dormitory villages, to the detriment of the local residents?
The university is big enough without taking more land to enlarge it.
