The principles of the National Health Service must be preserved but it is obvious that the way the NHS operates has produced a system that is failing the British people.

It needs better and more efficient management. Too much cash is being wasted on excessive red tape and bureaucracy and is not going where it is most needed.

It's no good just throwing loads of money at it when it's not being used wisely. The only way to improve morale and attract more nurses and doctors is to make the NHS more efficient. The Government must come up with more imaginative ways to revamp the NHS or it will just keep failing the patient.

The fourth largest economy in the world should have a very good standard of health care, which other countries take for granted.
