I WORK six days a week with the elderly people throughout Haxby and Wigginton. I can often be spotted on my bright-yellow suspension bike.
I have no intention of increasing my speed on roads, and would far rather run the risk of being pulled up for talking to cats on garden walls, as I pass through villages, than be cautioned for speeding, recklessness and high blood pressure.
Slow is best!
