ON the bowl and on the ball for York City will be half-a-dozen Minstermen fans next week.
Six young City fans are planning a 12-hour sponsored bowl-athon at Megabowl in Clifton Moor on Monday in aid of the football club.
Members of the City squad will be there for some part of the afternoon to offer the fans, who aim to bowl from 10am to 10pm, their support.
The bowlers were intending to be at Bootham Crescent today to collect sponsors and watch City tackle Northampton Town in the Minstermen's first home game of the season.
