THE perfect counterpoint to concerns about problem youths is today's GCSE results.
All the young people celebrating exam success act as a reminder that their generation is largely hard-working and keen to do well.
We are delighted so many have earned excellent grades. The continuing improvement in results at Archbishop Holgate's School in York is particularly heartening and testament to a lot of effort from staff and pupils.
We wish all the high achievers an enjoyable night tonight. Just don't go mad. This isn't Faliraki, you know.
