This double album features a broad cross section of fresh rock acts, ranging from chillout styles to good hard in-your-face stuff.
Many of these bands, including SikTh, Murder One, Capdown, Onepity, Farse, Beecher, Fony and Little Hell, have ignored the big labels, deciding to record and promote their own material.
Not since the early 1980s with the new wave of British heavy metal has the underground scene been quite so exciting. If there are to be successors to Iron Maiden, Def Leppard and the like (bands that have the capacity to thrive in the international arena) then there's a good chance you'll find them on this compilation. Louder Than The Crowd is a snapshot of the moment: challenging, thrilling and inspirational.
