After all the fun of yesterday's Evening Press Sunday raceday at York, it's the turn of Catterick to stage the Yorkshire racing action tomorrow before attention turns to the four-day St Leger meeting at Doncaster.

Paul Hanagan, who took a share of the spoils at York, when winning on Philharmonic, the only successful favourite on the seven-race card, can also play a starring role at Catterick, courtesy of Piste Bleu.

The Richard Ford-trained gelding, part-owned by actress Malandra Burrows of Emmerdale fame, won on this course a fortnight ago in decisive style.

Piste Bleu has by-passed several tempting opportunities since, but a follow-up in on the cards in the goracing.co.uk Handicap over one and threequarter miles.

Royston Ffrench, who rode two winners at Thirsk on Saturday, could score at Catterick.

Ffrench partners my Nap selection Fox Covert in the Beckside Maiden Auction Stakes, and David Barker's juvenile has shown enough in stacking-up a series of placed efforts that he is capable of winning a race of this nature.

Newmarket-based Ffrench, who is planning to move to Yorkshire before the end of the year, can also win the catterickbridge.co.uk Handicap over seven furlongs on Mr Bountiful.

Michael Dods' gelding is a previous winner over this course and distance and recent efforts suggest he is ready to strike again.

The 'Sponsor A Race At Catterick' Nursery over five furlongs offers Bridgewater Boys the opportunity to open his winning account.

Kevin Ryan's speedy youngster finished second to Stealthelimelight over six furlongs on this course last time. Tomorrow's drop back to the minimum trip might suit him even better.

At Leicester, the Racecourse Video Services Conditions Stakes over five furlongs, has attracted a useful line-up and The Trader promises to prove hard to beat.

The mount of Kieren Fallon, Michael Blanshard's smart sprinter tackled the Group 1 Nunthorpe Stakes, won by Oasis Dream, on his latest start. Although out of his depth, he finished a creditable sixth, only three lengths behind the third horse Acclamation.

Luca Cumani and Darryll Holland, unluckily beaten with Falbrav, runner-up to High Chaparral, in the Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown on Saturday, can win tomorrow with the promising Sahara Storm, in the Filbert Maiden Fillies' Stakes.
