YORK City Ladies FC put on a real show at Bootham Crescent with a 6-3 win over Grimsby Town to go top of the Yorkshire and Humberside League premier division.
Louise Ross bagged her second double in as many games with goals from Charlie Woodward, Emma Fawcett, Kelly Shepherd and Jenny Garnett completing the rout.
Heidi Fox completed her first full 90 minutes for the first team since damaging her ankle in the summer.
Defender Mari Poulter earned the player of the match award.
This Sunday YCL travel to a revitalised Hull City side who beat Wakefield 8-0 recently.
