ADAM Ferguson's hat-trick helped fire Poppleton to the top of the York Mitchell Football League division one table.

His treble came in the 6-0 win over Easingwold Town, with Callum Andrew, Joe Dale and George Chambers also scoring.

Poppleton lead Copmanthorpe on goal difference after Copmanthorpe beat Panthers 'A' 4-0 through Antony Chilton (2), Ben Johnson and Hugh Barlow.

Michael Byram scored his second hat-trick of the season in Haxby Town 'A's 4-0 home win against Rowntrees, Lee Topping adding the fourth goal.

Fulford beat Selby Olympia 4-1 with Murray McCusker (2), Liam Summers and David McDermottroe on the scoresheet for Fulford. Brooklyn, still without a win, went down 5-3 to Thorpe United. Connor, Shipley and Shane Thompson scoring for Brooklyn.

Rawcliffe's 5-0 win against Wigginton Grasshoppers leaves them at the top of division two. Chris Metcalfe and Tom Jackson scored two each with Adam Scorfield getting the fifth.

Jamie Crunwell scored a hat-trick as York RI beat Stamford Bridge 5-2. Sean Munday and David Smith were also on target for RI while Craig Benn and Martyn Day netted for the bottom club Bridge.

Man of the match Sean Precious scored both goals for New Earswick in their draw against Dunnington, whose goals came from M Shaw and M Prayle.

Heworth beat Barlby Raiders 3-1 with goals from Tom Genever, Michael Whiteley and Declan Malarkey. Liam Holden hit Barlby's consolation.

Despite being held 1-1 by Pocklington, Elvington Harriers are three points clear in division three. Alex Brent scored for Elvington with Billy Hardy replying for Pocklington.

Selby Olympia 'B' and Bishopthorpe also drew 1-1, Ashley Spence finding the net for Olympia and Jamie Kitson for Bishopthorpe.

Hamilton Panthers 'B' beat Ulleskelf 5-3 thanks to goals from Tom Johnson (2), Lee Bond, Adam Brooke and James Cartwright. Pat Dean, Sam Hawkins and Ryan Broughton responded for Ulleskelf.
