DISCIPLINARY problems could lead to high-flying Selby Town taking a tumble, manager Bob Lyon has warned ahead of their clash with Buxton on Saturday.

The Robins have seen several players sent off in vital games in recent weeks.

And although the ten-man sides have battled on, their manager has warned that if suspensions build up it could mean problems.

"We have really got to tighten up on this, we are just losing too many men to red cards, it is happening just too regularly," he said.

"We lost Russ Barley on Wednesday for two yellow cards, but he is just the latest in the list."

The Robins did have a result when an appeal against the dismissal of left-back Andy Hart in a game last month saw a 35-day ban removed with the dismissal deemed sufficient punishment.

"That was a win for us really, but we have others coming up," said Lyon.

"Now I am looking at bringing in some fringe players for Saturday's game, to extend the squad so we can keep winning even with these problems."

The Robins are also tipped to field at least one new signing for their home game against mid-table Buxton.
