THE division one individual champion of the York Phoenix Open League is Woodman's Tony Raymond.

With an awesome display of finishing, Raymond closed the first leg with a 102 finish for 21, then took the decider with a 108 finish for 18 darts after Daz Bailey had levelled in 23.

The division two individual finals was an all-Ebor affair, with Graham Hudson capturing the title with a 2-1 win over Mike Holdsworth, who had levelled the match with a superb 130 finish.

The division three crown went to Falcon's Chris Wilson, who came back from 1-0 down against Crescent 'B's Stan Isaac, who gamed on 76 for 18 darts.

Mitre's Andy Lawson-John Pickering took the pairs title by defeating John and Wendy Smith (Phoenix) with a 2-1 scoreline, while Huntington 'A's Neil Fairclough-Lisa Moore clinched the mixed pairs title by taking out hot favourites Rich Corner-Michelle Britton (Bay Horse 'A').

Bay Horse 'A' added the triples championship to their League title with a comfortable 5-1 win over Phoenix, whose only point came via Daz Bailey. Rich Corner (20) got Bay off to a fine start, then Bailey levelled. A 100 finish for 20 from Dave O'Hara put his team back in front before Corner and Kev O'Hara extended the lead, then Dave O'Hara sealed the win.

The York John Smith's Ladies League semi-finals saw captain/vice captain Anne Bass-Dawn Exton (Cygnet 'A') power their way to the final with a 2-0 win over house rivals Diane Armer-Sue Claydon (Cygnet 'B'). Bass starred with an excellent 130 finish in the second leg. In the final, they will play Independent's Sandra and Tracey Bruce who knocked out Slipper's Doreen Johnstone-Anita Adam.

In the triples, the final will be contested by Clifton 'B' and Cygnet 'C' whose Roz Kerr excelled with 4 x 100 and a 90 finish in the decider against Cygnet 'A'. Clifton 'B' defeated Cygnet 'B' 2-0.

Cygnet 'A's Bass-Exton will feature in the pairs final after a 2-0 semis win over Sue Claydon-Caroline Walker (Cygnet 'B'). They will meet Tracey Farmery (140) and Jayne Janes who beat Flag's Sandra Fairclough-Sarah Jackson in a close match.

Jo Hodges (Clifton) was awesome hitting 135, 100, 100 then closing on 88 for 21 to defeat Slipper's Anita Adams 2-0 and qualify for the final where she will play Angie Hields. She posted an opening leg 86 finish to take out Cygnet 'C's Sue Lowery.

The finals will take place on Tuesday, October 7, starting at 7.45pm.

John Mooring game in 19 darts in York John Smith's Men's League division one.

Then, partnering Dave Gibbons to take the points, Cygnet 'A' overcame Poacher 6-3 after Ray McInally (19 and 180) and Darren Hawcroft (180) played well.

Kelvyn Frankel (96 finish for 18) and good play from Paul Keers, Ron Simpson enabled Bay Horse to crush Green Tree 'B' 8-1.

Tony Cooper (20 and 180), Rod Thompson and Doug Sutcliffe helped give Sun 'A' a 5-0 lead over Saddle before Noel Cooper put them on the board, Cooper-Thompson finally made it 6-3.

Graham Sanderson (180)-Paul Brandon finished 701 in 21 darts and a 180 from Martin Waddington pushed Clifton 'A' to a 7-2 result over Flag 'A'.

In division two, Clifton 'B' had Gary Nicholson (180) and a 103 finish from Anthony Baxter making it 4-4 before Tony Martin-Baz McLaughlin took the points for Swan.

Steve Thompson and Dave Endeacott were outstanding as Cue Ball beat Institute 7-2.

Flag 'B', with Dave Dobson (21 and 5 x 100) and Lee Lambrou (2 x 100 and 2 x 140), could not stop Old Ebor winning 6-3 with good wins from Danny Chapman, Steve Loftus and Paul Dolan.
